29. New York Jets (9-7)
This is a good pick for the New York Jets. With already the best defense in the league, the Jets made sure that they will remain number one in that aspect. With the trade for WR Santonio Holmes, they were able to address their strengths and make them even stronger. Although I would have gone with a pass rusher such as Jerry Hughes out of TCU, you can't fault the Jets for grabbing Wilson.
Why he's good for the Jets:
The Jets already have arguably the best 1-2 combination at cornerback, but you might as well lock up the slot receiver while you're at it. Wilson was the best cover corner in the draft, I feel, and this is a great move by the Jets.
